Everything Betta owners ask first

  • They’re fillers and we believe they don’t belong in Betta food.

    Bettas are carnivores. They aren’t built to digest plant ingredients like soy, corn, or peas — which are often used to inflate protein numbers on labels without delivering usable nutrition.

    These ingredients can lead to bloating, excess waste, and cloudy water. We’re not about that. We wouldn’t feed it to our own Bettas, and we’re not feeding it to yours.

    Instead, we use premium marine and insect proteins that are highly digestible and better aligned with a Betta’s natural diet. And yes, we include a small amount of wheat and rice flour, but not as filler. It’s just enough to help the pellets hold their shape and to help them float.

    Without it, they’d fall apart or sink way too fast, and Bettas prefer to feed at the surface.

  • They’re floating pellets, designed for surface-feeding Bettas. Because they’re packed with high-protein marine and insect ingredients, they’ll slowly begin to sink over time. For best results, place the pellets gently on the surface — the water’s surface tension will help them stay afloat longer.
